IDEA SONORA

How to make a quirky recording studio stand out and bring the feeling of their intense, weird sounds to silent web copy? And as a copywriter in the 21st century, how do you even approach long copy?

You have to…

Sound a little weird.

Idea Sonora needed text that would transport the reader into an auditory wonderland, something with an extra touch that’s impossible to define, but you know it when you “hear” it. They needed to get a bit strange.

“The clack-clack of a murderous turkey’s spur against a marble floor.”

“The perfect sound effect for an unimpressed goldfish.”

“What does a demon’s voice sound like?”

“A wobbly-voiced tot that sings jingles in three languages.”

Of course, all of the copy was designed to work alongside Idea Sonora’s badass design. I also worked with writers to translate the nuance of these strange texts into Spanish and Catalan.
